How to measure for the best fit
Use a T-shirt, hoodie, or sweatshirt that already fits the way you want. Smooth it on a flat surface without stretching the fabric, then compare the same measurements shown on the appropriate Expression Tees chart.
Measure the length
Measure from the shoulder down to the bottom seam. Cropped garments are intentionally shorter, so compare their length with another cropped style.
Measure the width
Measure straight across from armpit to armpit. The width is a flat garment measurement, not a measurement around your body.
Compare the numbers
Match the width first when fit is your main concern. If you are between sizes, choose the larger measurement for more room or the smaller measurement for a closer fit.
Fit varies by garment style
Men's and unisex styles generally have a straighter shape, while women's, V-neck, cropped, and racerback styles use different proportions. Youth, toddler, and infant sizing should be checked separately rather than estimated from an age alone.
