TLC was founded in 2013 and is a non-profit, all-breed, foster-based rescue located in suburban Philadelphia. Our mission is to rescue and find permanent homes for abandoned, stray, and surrendered dogs. Rather than being housed in stressful shelter environments, our dogs live in the homes of volunteers where they thrive on attention and love. Our dedicated foster families interact with the dogs to learn their strengths and to understand their challenges. Adding a new member to your family is a lifelong commitment. TLC will work with adoptive families to ensure a smooth transition and help facilitate additional support that may be needed to maintain a happy forever home for everyone.
