Feminism exists and it can’t be ignored
It is not right to underestimate the power of women, because they are many, they are determined, they know what they want, and will definitely join forces if they want something done. Women are a very important part of our society, not only because they are mothers and wives, but also because they work just as much and as hard as men, being in many cases more successful than them. A women will always be more motivated, ambitious, tenacious, and will pay attention to details, which makes her a real asset in any company. In fact, women were not afraid to enter domains that were considered to be dominated by men. So, it is not uncommon to see women that are truck drivers, mechanics, carpenters, and so on. Women are not afraid of work, but they won’t accept to be disrespected either.
To be a feminist doesn’t necessarily mean to hate men or be in a constant competition with men. It means to be ready to stand up from the rights of women, for your rights. Even if we claim to live in a modern and highly advanced society, women are still not treated right in many parts of the country and of the world, business owners and others being sexists and favoring men in the detriment of women. Feminism is the movement that demands respect for women and wants for their rights to be taken in account at all times. It is utterly disrespectful to mistreat and not show any appreciation to women that aren’t just productive citizens of their community by doing their job right, but also by being careful mothers and wives, doing their job at home as well.
If you want to have a clear image over the determination of women, let us remember about the womens march that happened in Washington DC a little while ago. This happened as a reaction to the fact that Donald Trump became, officially, the President of the United States. It is well-known the fact that Trump made, in numerous occasions, inadequate remarks about women. Not to mention the many sexual assault allegations Donald Trump got during the elections, after several women decided to talk about how Trump treated them. Also, it was impossible not to notice the solidarity among women worldwide. Even if the march took place in the United States, women from across the world gathered as well, to support and show their solidarity in the same cause, in many important cities around the globe.
If you don’t think the future is female, then think again. Women showed, in time, that they have what it takes to be powerful and successful. Let us not forget that one of the most supported candidates for the presidential elections and Trump’s number one competitor was a woman, Hillary Clinton. This shows clearly that women are determined to get where they want, because they are smart and more calculated than many men. So, it won’t be a surprise if we will see a rise in power among women in the future, because they will definitely not leave things undone.
